Jacob Sandell

Since 2021, Jacob has been an integral part of our team, helping to organise and promote our classes through social media. A passionate artist since the age of 15, he has been honing his skills in fantasy and comic book art. Alongside his digital creations of characters and landscapes, Jacob regularly studies life drawing and anatomy to deepen his understanding of the human form and elevate his artistic craft.

Tony Sandell

Tony Sandell

Tony has been creating paintings in Uxbridge for many years, and in 2020, he made the decision to pursue art full-time. His passion is to make painting and drawing more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. As a versatile multimedia artist, Tony has extensive experience working with oils and acrylics, but he particularly enjoys the convenience and flexibility of creating on his iPad.

A Local, Family Business

As a local family-run business, we’ve been dedicated to promoting visual arts in the West Drayton area full-time since 2021. Our mission is to inspire creativity and foster a sense of mindfulness through artistic expression. By offering accessible art classes and workshops, we aim to create a welcoming space where individuals of all skill levels can explore their creativity, relieve stress, and build a stronger connection to the local arts community. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, we believe that engaging in the arts can enhance both personal well-being and community spirit.

Our Code of Conduct

We prioritise the safety and well-being of all our students and the life models that work with us. Our commitment is to foster an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and free to express themselves creatively.

Our code of conduct reflects this promise and serves as a guiding framework to uphold this vision for all who participate in our groups and classes.

Professionalism and Support: Our staff will always maintain professionalism in dress and behaviour. While we provide positive feedback and encouragement, we respect students’ right to express themselves freely in their art.

Student Autonomy: Students retain complete control over their work, and we will never post or share their artwork without their explicit permission.

Safeguarding and Safety: We regularly update our safeguarding and risk assessment policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, whether in our facilities or rented spaces. We take every precaution to eliminate risks.

Data Protection: We only retain information essential for the safety of young and vulnerable individuals. When required to keep details such as medical information or emergency contacts, we store it securely and never share it with unauthorised parties, adhering strictly to data protection laws.

Inclusivity and Anti-Bullying: We uphold a zero-tolerance policy on discrimination and bullying. We do not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, religion, or skin colour, and we ensure our classes are safe and inclusive spaces for everyone.

Accessibility and Affordability: Our mission is to make art accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. While some programs or resources we use may be bought/paid for, we never advertise to our students. Our focus is on teaching skills and knowledge that anyone can apply without the need for expensive tools.

Making Art Fun and Positive: Our primary goal is to make art enjoyable. As advocates for mental health, we promote positive self-image and celebrate diversity in all forms. We encourage an inclusive and supportive approach to art-making, fostering a welcoming environment for all students.
