“A totally up-lifting Life-Drawing experience without any of the hassle of having to cart materials or easel to the venue. At Southlands, on a Thursday evening. Everything is supplied – including a lot of encouragement. T and J guide this class in a gentle and caring way. All are welcome and they have an acute awareness of the group dynamics. The time passes very quickly for most, but should energy levels drop, there is a quick drinks break ( provided) half way through and chairs available.This is a very supportive and non-judgmental class with attendees happy to talk about their work – their good and bad pieces, their techniques and what they are seeing. These sharing times at the break and at the end of the 2 hour sessions are very low-key, yet wonderful. Ideas and energy are sipped along with a cuppa. Every class is different and that is part of the uniqueness. The period room with the variety of lighting possibilities now ( spot lights on the model and individual reading lights for each easel) has added even more to the sessions. There is a gentle mood of concentration and creativity.”
